Collection: Stillington
There is something special about Stillington that those who call it home will happily tell you about. Nestled between York and Helmsley, this proud little North Yorkshire village carries more than a thousand years of history in its lanes and hedgerows. The 12th century Parish Church of St Nicholas still stands at its heart, and the Saxon roots of the settlement run deeper still. Laurence Sterne, one of the great names in English literature, served as vicar here in 1745. George Russell, a village son born in 1857, left a quiet but lasting mark on the English garden through his celebrated Russell Lupin.
And when the local post office once faced closure, the community rolled up their sleeves and turned it into a thriving co-operative. Stillington looks after its own.
The cards are designed digitally in the art studio in Easingwold and are available in two sizes: A5 folded to A6, and 6x6.
