Kateryna Oliynyk has been embroidering for as long as she can remember. But it was four years ago that she took what she loved and turned it into something she could share: her own cross-stitch pattern designs.

Her world is one of small, considered things. Modest palettes. Gentle ornaments. The kind of detail that rewards patience and brings real quiet to a busy day. Magical flowers and birds find their way into most of her patterns, because these are the things she loves most, and that love shows in every design.

If you have never tried cross-stitch before, her patterns are a wonderful place to start. They are simple enough for a complete beginner, yet satisfying enough to keep you coming back. Each file includes a colour chart, a black and white version, and a full key with every symbol explained, so you can pick one up and begin the same day. You will enjoy both the process and the finished piece.
