At the heart of this piece sits a glass bottle, given a second life beneath layers of hand-sculpted clay. A small contribution to a circular way of making, where nothing useful is discarded.
Built up by hand, this is the mid-size Driftstone, sitting between the Low and the Fell in the collection, and carrying the same unhurried process across all three. Painted with Derwent graphite paint from Keswick, purples and cool greys running through the surface like strata through stone. Finished with a water-based sealer.
Made for a single stem or a few dried sprigs. Keep away from water and direct moisture.
