The rim lifts and moves like the edge of a wave caught still. At the base of this piece sits a stone, held inside the clay as it was shaped around it. Wide enough to cradle a few stems loosely, narrow enough to hold them with intention.
Painted with Derwent graphite paint from Keswick, purples and cool greys running through the surface like strata through stone. Finished with a water-based sealer.
Made for dried flowers and botanicals. We recommend keeping it away from water and direct moisture to preserve both the clay surface and the seal.
